Oh, I can see a two-tone paint job - candy apple red and pearl - whitewalls, lotsa chrome and slammed as low as a worm's belly!

How about an old skool 4.4l Nissan President V8?

Cheers,

Guys, its actually an H series engine: http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Pit/ ... gines.html

Plans for it are:

Metallic Midnight Purple with White roof.
20" Intro Radicalli 6 Chrome Rims
Maybe White interior
lots of chrome
Engine will be done in about 5 years after i lick my wounds after my fiance bashes me nearly to death after i spend so much on it    .

Nearly got it started yesterday after 15 years sitting in someone's shed! Discovered that the fuel pump(which has a primitive but kinda cool primer lever) was full of a mud like substance. so i pulled it off and cleaned it. Now i gotta unblock the fuel line. I'm guessing all the sh*t has settled in the tank and solidified. I would disconnect the tank but i have already put 15LT of fuel in it. I'm gonna try pumping air through the fuel line with my foot pump see if it uncloggs it. failing that what would you guys recommend?

Hey Vader, THAT is going to be one Sweeeeeeet ride when it's finished!
Prince/Nissan/Datsun there all cut from the same mold,
as far as I'm concerned.
Are the 20" rims going to be a tight fit under the guards?
Have you got a pic of them?

BTW, nice Celica...

thanks for your nice comments Lurch :) I believe they are all the same too.. I'm sure the 20's will be a tight fit. I want it to be a snug fit. The wheel arches are huge so i want to fill them up :D they make custom offsets etc for these rims and i know a guy that makes custom spacers to make your camber kick out without having to install a camber kit :D

http://ozdat.com/members/uploads/wheel0060_lrg.jpg

what do u think of the rims?

are you converting to six-stud or is that the only pic you have of it?

i don't think team dat meant any offence by that post, i think he was just saying if you're going for a loan for the car you shoud take the photshop jobbie so they can see where their money is going... :!: ah never mind, you'll learn to read people's mannerisms in their posts soon anyways.

and yeah, prince/nissan/datsun - all good in my books.

Word to what Pro said. Everybody in here is pretty easy going -
no need to get offended

Anywhoo, good luck with the project, keep us up to date with its progress.
