Yeah, but they're going the wrong way... Maybe make some yourself using some PVC pipe and some glue. And then body fill the edges and give is a spray job?

RJB510 Think you might be onto something there... For $150 pp they don't look that nice and you'd still have to modify them to suit RHD

Thanks Travm182 for finding it tho....

It doesn't look difficult to make to me. Well, to modify an existing one. But i'll have a go at that project when my car Is actually running and registered.

One option is to install a complete dashboard, pillar to pillar, from a Datsun 240K. The K has a full set of instruments all pointing at the driver, and the full dash chassis needs only slight alteration to fit between the door pillars and bolt in. All external features can be left unchanged. The centre section is shaped to blend into a console and it has more heating/cooling vents. The dash looks the right era also, because it is. Speedo reads to 240KPH, so should be OK for most upgrades. If you want the full 240 K "sports" look, consider getting the steering column and 3 spoke steering wheel also. You also get more functions on the steering column. Lights etc.

I've spoken to many people about getting the SSS facia re-made in both frp and carbon, problem is everyone says its to hard and to do contours like the facia and keeping a neat weave in the carbon was almost impossible! I may be finding out sometime soon If a friend of a friend is keen to do it, he was working for a mob which had the porsche cup contract for carbon composites. I'm almost about to give up and just make a carbon surround and mount a haltech/motec digital cluster in it.. Decisions, Decisions :(

US eGay has standard carbon fibre dashes for sale a while back.. might be still there. If they can do them, I am sure the SSS ones can be done. I have to take on a project soon to make my own dash. it will be from fibreglass and be made to suit the Haltech IQ3 display. Not looking forward to it, but I am sure it can be done no problem... well here's hoping!!

Cheers

The guy making the center section is also making LHD converted SSS dashes in F/glass.
