 Post subject: Custom Tailshafts

Come to the conclusion that I will be getting a custom Tailshaft for the SSS. Can anyone recommend a decent place?

I think Veem or Hardy Spicer might be the way to go.

truck line are mint.
see the boys out the back in 'driveline' (you actually drive around the back of the main worshop)
truckline are in kewdale on kewdale rd.
ive used them and are good, build whatever u want. full custom or just new tube etc.

Yeah I rang Veem and wasn't to happy with the quote and plus they always put on new uni's with any job as mine is new anyway. I will try truckline today and see, all i need is the tube done.

Thanks Timmy for directing me to Truckline. Good bloke to do business with and quoted around $150. Pick up the shaft next week so finally be able to move foward again :D

yea dont use veem they qouted me 160ish from memory ? and when i picked it up he said they had to put new unis on so it was 250 :( but that wasnt to bad got it home and it was 200 mm too long arrr and the guy treated me like sh*t for bringing it back , they did fix it and when i picked it up 3 days later ( because they where flat out hmmm) it was all scrached and before picking it up i had to sign a bit of paper saying it was the wright size . i'll neva use em agen

Well, finally picked up my tailshaft after all this time, been busy with work and all sorts. Good job done and the total cost was $186 with new unis :D So progress here we come finally!
