I get most of my parts from a mate here in Ballarat. They often have datsun parts and accessories on ebay, never really had issues getting what I need between ebay and my mate.......

So I suggest checking ebay if you haven't already.......

speedo cable - should be right getting it from any early L series powered car including R30 etc

Carby - could try 200b/Bluey (more pollution sh*t)

My tip would be Center Rd wreckers. They have a fair few cars, but not the turn around like pick a part.

I was working at centre rd a few months back. It sux, they'd get a nice datto and just crush it. They only really keep one of each and then crush the rest.

You can also get speedo cables made to suit from a place in Ringwood. I think they are call Ringwood Speedo. It's anoying, i went thru the same trouble a few months back. Ended up getting a cable from a wrecker in a little country town...
As for carby, i have one i don't need.
