Thought I'd get in the spirit of things and post up some details about my 120Y.

Engine: CA18DET, stock internals as far as I know, S15 non-roller turbo, Microtech LT10S, custom dipe pipe and 3" exhaust, PWR Cooler, Just Jap alloy radiator.
Wheels: Simmons Gold V4 15"
Diff: R31 Skyline LSD cut down.
Suspension: Reset leaf springs in the back, S13 struts in the front.
Interior: Toyota Supra leather seats (electric drivers seat), S13 dash with custom surround, carbon fiber door trims, autometer carbon fiber gauges, momo steering wheel and a few other bits and pieces.

Performance: 186rwkw on 18psi.

I bought the car a few months ago with a stock computer and TRX rims. From there i've basically cleaned it up, put my Simmons on, fitted a few Autometer gauges (not pictured), fitted venetians and had the Microtech fitted.

Plans: I used to own a Bluebird TRX with a CA18DET in it. The engine out of that car is going into the 120Y. It has forgies, ARP head studs, GT2871R turbo, Tial 38mm Gate etc etc. It made 228rwkw on 20psi. I am selling that turbo setup, and I will be high mounting a GT3071R to this engine before it goes in :D

Behind that engine, will be a Jatco which is currently being built, which is a full house box (transbrake, reverse pattern, billet valve body etc etc), and should be done in a few weeks.

I won the best Non-Skyline on the weekend at the Skylines Australia day, and also won a trophy for best modified car at the show up at Grenfell festival a month ago.

These shots are a little old but I sorta rushed this so more updated pics will be up this weekend..

Yep, S13 brakes up front. I had to make spacers up to fit the Simmons, and they still sit in a little bit.

Not yet ;) I've already entered Supernats in November, so you can see it in action there! By that stage, it will be the big setup with the auto. I don't know how it didn't sell quicker....although the 4 door 120y isn't really everyones taste.

Nice car mate, with the 220+kws and the auto you'll go straight to the low elevens with traction. are you gonna use NOS to get the big boy turbo spooling up on the line?

I am looking into running MT Street Radials. I've seen a few cars in the 9's, and 10's with these tyres, so it should definately work with my combo.

I'm going to use the 0.48a/r exhaust housing on the GT3071R, so hopefully NOS won't be neccesary....i'm more than happy to hook it up if need be :D ;)

Thanks for the comments!

I took the 120Y to WSID on Wednesday night (18.07.07), and ran a best time of 12.59 @ 111mph (1.88 60ft!). This is using shitty Nexen 195/50/15 tyres and full street trim. When we let some tyre pressure out to about 17psi, the thing was an ANIMAL out of the line.

The first run was just a "hold it flat" sorta run just to see what needs improvement, big dump off the line, mostly wheelspin, revved all the way out etc etc. It ran 13.2...a good starting point.

When I got back to the pits, the dipstick had blown out and there was oil everywhere. The breather filter had also blown off. So, we fixed that, and went out again. I shifted very early and took it easy as I was a bit paranoid, which resulted in a 13.4 with no breathing problems.

We let some tyre pressure out and went out again, left the line very hard but shifted 2nd to 5th...still ran a 13.3.

The last run left very hard again, and shifts were perfect, resulting in a 12.59@111mph. VERY happy, considering I still have another engine to put in, and an auto, with slicks...

Heres some pics, video to follow very soon...
