finally got around to getting myself a daily.
as you can see its a 79 sunny. prettymuch all original except for the cd player and rear speakers. only done 160k, drives a dream. only problems with it is the dent in the front corner of the passenger side front guard, and the top of the rear seat is all cracked/split etc. because the young girl that owned it before me, pulled the sheepskin rug off which the old granny before her had on it!
Plans are to keep it as is, perhaps fit a set of sheepskins throughout, a venetian, mesh visor, whitewalls and reset springs etc. ;)

and is it common for the 'econo monitor' to die? and if so, whats usually the problem? i checked the vacuum lines, all intact and good condition, so i assume its the little metal cannister.
what's it do aswell? i have a little green circle in the middle flicker on and off a bit when driving at night, dunno if thats part of it or not!?

Mine has never worked since I've owned it, It does the same flickering thing as yours does...

Easy solution - Dash cluster with tacho from a Sunny coupe

And by the way..

THIS THING IS DAMN TIDY!

Excellent find.. In way better condition than mine!

hahaha yeah its not bad hey!
at the moment i'm chasing around for a new radiator for it. been patched up a few times already, so i think just easier to get a new one. it's actually cheaper to get a whole new radiator too that get it re-cored.
think i'll see what the wreckers car offer first though.
does anything else bolt up with little mods?

Hey Dave

I think you've confused the terms "daily" and "project" ... reset springs, white walls, tacho dash???

At this rate I might finish my 16 before you
