i recently read somthing about setting the timing on vehicles.

instead of setting the timing when the car is at idle you set it at high revs where there is the maximum advance needed, or something like that. it didnt go into too much detail.

anyone done or heard of this?

if so, care too explain excatly how its done or if you need to know any specs on your engine, as in revs at max torque, horsepower etc etc.
or should i forget about doing this myself and get it done at a dyno tuner?
