The second one was intentional.....It was done on a slow lap during qualifying, but I saw the photographer set up to take a shot from the rear of the car - So I gassed it up for him ;)
So THATS why! You showoff you :P

How controllable is it at the limit (& over it!) mate?

Once the tyres have warmed up, the car is very predictable. It's quite easy to drive sideways, however, if you do it too much the rear tyres go off very quickly. I need to keep the car pretty straight and not get too heavy on the right foot.

While I was building the car, I allowed my CAMS license to expire. When you get a CAMS license, you must do 5 race meetings with a P plate on the back. Also, you hand your license in to the Clerk of Course at the beginning of the weekend and they keep an eye on you throughout the weekend....if you behave yourself and stay out of trouble they sign your licence - 5 signatures = no more P plates. ;)

Does behaving yourself include hanging the back wheels out while lifting the inside front off the ground?

LOL....... as long as you don't keep running off the track, hit people or keep spinning around - you generally get a signature.

Mark.
