Haha
You forgot also ran track day at nationals.
Didn’t learn my lesson and continue to run track days...
Yeah just roll cage tube nothing fancy.
I’m hoping to get it further back.
I need to semi mount the seat and see how much room I have.
No headers in that pic.

Yeah, I've also been doing a lot of volunteering at MX5 Club events, finally got my CAMS Bronze Event Command qualification late last year. Ran the SDC motorkhana last week - my first solo Clerk of Course gig.

So I see a lot more volunteer official stuff in my future, especially as the 1600 is still broken from Bathurst 2017.......

Good to see the bi-annual update!
I'm very curious on the excel sports sedan style suspension geometry. It would be good to understand how he sets his suspension up (roll centre heights, camber changes, anti-dive/squat etc.) That excel is a freaken beast. Hopefully we will be saying the same thing about a certain Datsun in the future...

At least you're still plugging away at it Andrew!
The motorkhana was good fun Dave, ran really smoothly!

Thoughts on how to make upper control arms with easy camber adjustment?
Also why do all the pics post sideways?

Simple options are parallel inner joints so equal turns on each with sperical outer and classic reib outer.

Good to see some progress being made on this Andrew.
I've seen a variety of different ways of getting this done.
THere's a few really nice formula ford examples where they use the threaded sections up the top (camber) and some laser cut spacers where the pivot points are closer to the body to space them out accordingly for Toe and alignment.

Guys I think I’m going to sellout on my Ozdat heritage and abort mission to Instagram.
I post pics on there every month or 2 and it’s so much easier than here.
Feel free to send all your hate mail my way.
@ajp510t
I might post something in here again one day if something exciting happens like it runs or I grow up and sell it and buy a boat or a horse or an mx5 or something
