Afternoon all,

First post on OZDAT, found you when I was Googling how to fit throttle cable to linkages on 180B SSS SU's to an L18 in my 1985 720 ute.

(PS - I don't know the answer yet).

I have a 1985 720 ute, it's stock, tired and getting rustier each day - with a little help.

The plan is to rat the thing but get it mechanically A1 under the rust. So first step for me is to ditch the stock carbie and fit some SU's I now have.

Long term - build a new L series engine for it with a few extra bells and whistles.

Here's how it currently looks.

I will get to Datsunday in Yarra Glen this year as it is only 10 minutes from home, maybe I can learn more there about fitting the SU's.

Cheers

Wow, that certainly has some patina.
