Hello, all --

I spun a rod on my '67 1600 roadster with a 3-main R16 motor. I'm considering a stroker conversion and located an H19 crank, but am having a difficult time finding specs for the H19 motor.

Can anybody help me with the standard journal diameters for the mains and rods for the 1900 cc "H" motor?

Many, many thanks!

Hi Bob, flick this member a PM -> http://www.ozdat.com/forum/memberlist.p ... ofile&u=61

He has a sp310 and is pretty knowledgeable in that realm. Alternatives are there are a few facebook groups for roadsters now that have some guys with a head of stuff in their heads.

Try 311s.org.

I'm pretty sure the cranks are interchangeable, there is a guy on the above forum who has built a stroker using an H19 crank in an R16 three main bearing block who should have the answer as to whether it fits, if any modifications were needed, and what rods / pistons to use (H19 is a different bore size to R16, and rods obviously need to be different to accommodate the different stroke)

Thanks everybody!

I've tapped into some great resources on 311s.org, and am checking with a Canadian vendor on the H19 crank. G15 could be a fallback, and would gain me some grunt.

For my edification, is there any good tech info online (specs, manuals) re: early Cedrics and their ilk?
