I'm planning on building a L20 and putting it into my 180b SSS. Question is do I go with the A87 or find a V912 head for it?
Thanks in advance.

W53 is also an option. It has a peanut shaped combustion chamber for high compression. I've got one on my L20B.

What is the advantage of the W53 over the A87?

if both closed chamber then nothing.
W53 was Japan(imported crate motors in the 80s and 90s)
A87 was open and closed and inported to the USA.
V912 is 1.5 in intake ports
