Heya all.
So as many of you would've seen, I own 3 Stanza SSSs. However, one of my mates asked me a simple question which I'd never even thought about, and have no idea about, which is - what does the SSS stand for? A mate of a mate on facebook said it stood for Super Sports Sedan, but I'm not sure about that seeing as there were SSS coupes/hatches etc. My old man reckons it either has European origins, or doesn't stand for anything in particular and it's just meant to sound sporty (a marketing trick, sort of). But he doesn't know for sure either. I'd love to ask one of the designers of the Stanza SSS, or someone who worked at Nissan back in the day that'd know, but I haven't found anyone. If anyone has any idea, or knows someone who does, I'd greatly appreciate it (for interest's sake).

Super Sports Saloon is correct In the early days , very early days anything with a GT in the model incurs excess insurance , so to beat that SSS was brought out as model version.
