Greetings, just joined the forum and thought I'd send a pic or two of my new Datsun. I'm formerly a Chrysler V8 type of guy,but marriage and kids 15 years ago put paid to that! Lol. I had a dirty Magna for a couple of years, then worked locally and used a pushbike for the next 3.5 years, but a recent change of jobs has meant the need for my own car. I didn't want anything new, I'm into older cars, so my wife was gracious enough to buy me a 200b off an old lady she knew! As far as I know it's original kms(73000) and I'll be the fourth owner. Starts up nice and runs smooth as! Gave it a buff last week and came up pretty well. Future plans include driving the arse off it and keeping it rego'd. But down the track I'd like to inject and turbo the l20b and keep it as a full sleeper with hubcaps. I'm getting some ideas from a certain Green Stanza (engine)as well as a White 120y(sleeper looks). Hoping the auto can take the power, but will go 5speed manual if I have too. Got to be street driven and available to be driven anywhere at the drop of a hat. Looking forward to some good times in this old beast, not as old as me yet! Haha

Looks like a good, honest car, well done. Welcome to Ozdat

Your plans sound pretty good, the auto will withstand the power, but the diff will not! I think Datsun made the 200B diff centres out of plasticine so budget an upgrade if you're going for much power. In the mean time, more photos of the car please :)
