Any one ever tapped this hole so you can screw in a fitting?

The hole is 21mm, what tap and what fitting should I use, or what has anyone else used?

I'm a bit over the vent tube, I can't get it to seal, is there a piece of rubber or some other type of seal that slips over the vent tube or does it just sit in the hole??

The tube is an interference fit.
I suggest using some Loctite Thread Sealer on it.

If you want to tap it, 3/4" NPT or BSPT would do the trick. Drill hole out to 29/32" and tap it.

The "T" in NPT or BSPT is for "taper" so it will tighten up.

Yep have blocked it on a couple of motors.
The way the sump flows through the front case and to rocker I was told would be fine.
I didn't block it on new motor as I found dipstick would pop out under high revs

There is a gauze oil/air separator in the engine block that needs to vent out through the crankcase vent.
