Went to datsport for a look yesterday and saw this beast. What a labour of love! You can see the hours and hours of getting things exactly how cammo wants, which has lead to a very unique 510. Awesome machine mate its a credit to you!

Went for a blast around the factories too and it's one very stable and comfortable car (handling wise) good balanced brakes with bags of power! You'll love stretching its legs and testing its limits on the track!

Hi Cam

Just wondering if you have wired the tail lights up as per original?

I was speaking to a guy at the RTA the other day here in NSW and I asked him about the lights and he said the only issue he can see is that when you brake there needs to be 1 solid red light on either side of the car. The problem is when the blinker is on there is no solid red light on that side that you are turning (because the blinker is taking up the brake light spot)

You may have different rules where you are. I will need to confirm the information but thats what he told me when I was speaking with him the other day informally.

I'm still curious to know how you went about it and if you are using the sequential flasher?

Regards
Jase

Great build. Is there any modding required to fit the coupe rear tail lights??

More holes need to be drilled to fit the coupe lights as they have more mounting points.

Drilling holes is one thing but you also have to enlarge the big hole for the tail light to fit into, which is abit harder to reverse than small drill holes.

Ah yes correct. Larger hole is indeed required. I think the hardest thing would be to find a decent set of these lights. Also if you wanted the sequential flashing you would need to get the sequential flasher box that attaches to the lights. Plus you would need to check the legality of these in your state/territory. Cam did you have any info on this?

I got a pair of NOS lights and a taillight loom but no flasher unit. Probably worth more than my car so undecided to use even or not.

Awesome build Cam.
Just curious to know what brake master cylinder and booster combo you are using. I want to upgrade mine to the 280zx 15/16 master but they seem to be NLA.
