Managed to get my hands on yet another 200B, i snapped this one up for $300 of a sencond owner elderly man after seeing it parked in a driveway with two bricks behind the back wheels, left a letter in the mil box with my number, and hey presto...

So far I have converted the front suspension to R31 AU struts brakes and swaybar, new bushes throughout, adjustable castor rods and lower control arms fabricated by me, fitted a Bluebird rear swaybar and lowered Kings all round.. Cut out all the rust and welded in freash sheetmetal, fabricated some custom 4 into 1 stainless steel extractors running into a full 2.25 inch stainless exhaust with 12inch glass packed hotdog, and outlaw rear muffler, also fitted some twin side draft 40mm solex mikuni carbs, hopefully upgrade them in the near future. This 200b will be getting a similar engine to what was in my Black 200b SSS, but using a Z22 block with Z22 crank and 89mm ka24 flat top pistons making it a 2.3L, running a 357c ivan tighe cam...

thanks, currently a 4 speed, but i have a 5 speed waiting to go in (have a broken thumb at the moment)
and yes using a ported U67 head

Yes I did, I do everything myself apart from machine work on the engine or fitting of tyres lol

Just dropped the z22 bottom end off to get bored to 89mm and getting new valves seated into the ported u67 head, engine build pics to come in the following weeks

That's awsome.
I'm going to build a set of headers, but I'll just stick to mild steel As I really haven't done much welding and have never welded stainless.

Are you going to up the carb and manifold size.?
The redline manifold and twin 40s might be a bit restrictive.

They will handle the job fine for now, will eventually go to quad efi hardware, the old motor only ever had 40mm dellortos on it and went really good and managed a 14.2 1/4 mile pass untuned

What specs are the wheels?

The wheels are some Aussie made brand size 15x7 unsure of offset...
Also looking for a drivers side mirror, if anyone in Brisbane has one, required asap, cheers Dean
