Hi all first time in this site credit to u all great site
I'm about to start my first build of a 68 1600 this was originally my fathers 15 years ago it was on sold or given away up to six times, it took me 12 months to track it down going interstate twice I finally found it less than 30km from ware I live I could not believe it. When I went to pick it up not a thing had changed since my father owned it all those years ago how ever a few less parts were on it. Alone with my old man we are going to turn it into something for all datto lovers to admire not back to original but something very classy.we are going to start from a absolute bare shell sand blasted back to metal and then from then on what we can will be brand new panels bonnet boot and so on my question to u all is I'm trying to find the best place to purchase all of these items from somware that everyone agrees is a reputable and reliable as I said this is my first time and don't want it to end badly so all your help would be greatly appreciated
Regards Gibbo

There arnt too many places offering new panels.
These aftermarket panels all seem to be made in the same place in Thailand and i havnt read any reviews regarding fitment of these.
Id be enquiring with Muscle car parts about these if you live in Australia.

Rust replacement panels are available from a few places like APC and Nissco etc.

You shouldnt have too many troubles with these parts.
Make a build thread in "Readers Rides" if you want. Sounds like a nice project.
68's are a unique 1600, enjoy!

I just bought and fitted a front valance from muscle car parts. It is very good quality and fits well. I would recommend it.
I would be interested to see the quality of the front guards
