I have been on the hunt for a 200B SSS coupe for many many years; i had/ Still have as my first car 35mm down drought webber; extractors S2 Bluebird motor and once i found out they made a coupe i started the hunt.

I put a deposit on a Orange one in Berwick Victoria in about 2005, the short story is, old mate sold it to someone else that following week so i was rather discouraged;

Found this not long after and brought that instead.

and then another one.

And then one of these

so now last month a guy in Crimeburn listed on Facebook what looked like a nice 200B; i was really hopeful that it would be a bucket of sh*t. (then i wouldn't have to buy it)
Turns out it wasn't

so then it sat in my garage.

Story goes it has been in the same family since new, has full history up to 1995 and then bits and pieces up to about 2003 (where it had a heap of Suspension components replaced, i brought it from the husband of the daughter of the original owner (Or something like that)

Sean (the previous owner) an Avid Dodge man (who also likes Jap cars) had spent a bit of time on getting rid of the Common rust; replacing the rear beaver and Repairing the boot lid but needed the room to finish one of his other projects.

All in all very happy with the car and ill be sure to come here with lots of photos and updates.

Currently at a mates workshop getting the body work finished

Tell me about it!!!!

Also brought 2 and sold 2 HR31's (r31 import coupes) in that time, much to my disappointment.

Been nearly 2 years since ive brought another car and it feels so good to be excited again.

The only catch; this wont be coming home till its on club plates with my club (classic skylines aus) then I can actually tell the mrs.

Atm she has no idea......

That sounds like something I would do..... oh wait I have done twice. You will feel the silent treatment pain like never before. Enjoy sleeping in that 200b. Good excuse for a road trip.

In the old days we had horses so today women should consider cars like horses as gifts
we try to somehow show its a very considerate thing for men to give cars to women
but the reality is just another ploy to let us have more cars instead of women

That is an epic quote right there.

I've known this car for a number of years now, the bonnet fitted is actually the one from my green 200B. It'll be good to see this fixed up.

Yeah I know it was your bonnet.

Wish I could get a mint one!

It will go silver for now, anyone got some photos of the rear of a coupe? Not sure about the tail lights.

I have plenty on my computer, unfortunately it has lost the ability to turn on. What exactly did you want to know? The lense itself is the same, but the chrome surrounds are different to suit the lack of chrome trim on the bootlid.

Yep, they're sedan ones. Next time I'm back at the 200B Parts Storage Facility (more commonly known as my mum's house) I'll check and see if I have a pair.
