Hi all,

Thought i would share a pic of my Datsun 120y, It was my grandmas and she gave it to me when she past away. It has done original 89,000 k's . I love the car !! it is Manual which is good and i am trying to decide what to do with it to get a little more power maybe new carb extractors and exhaust ?

nice looking car in great condition and in WA as well i see... by the way, call me cynical, but if that was a 1600 in that picture you would get numerous replies, but as it is a 120 dont expect many, there seems to be a 1600 obsession on this site...... :blahblah:

probably because it was made for 1600 enthusiests mainly and they are popular, unlike the 120y, majestic yet ugly as all ****

very clean looking though and you will find a huge increase in performance even just from a better exhaust, extractors and a 32/36 or some kind of weber/delorto etc.

Wow, Looks extremely straight! How's the interior?

New carb and exhaust is definitely the right way to go for a bit more power.

Thanks Jono,

The interior is perfect, its had seat covers and floor mats its whole life and when it wasn't being drive it was kept under a car cover in the shed :) .... I am going to look into a new carb and exhaust system..

James
