Also picked up a new clutch from the States, and a ACS race flywheel the suit the RB with Holinger. Im getting a new imput shaft for the box made to suit the RB30 and I an getting it with a 26 spline Chev spline. It will keep the clutches cheaper.

Also I am redesigning the rear end, after talking to a race car engineer I was told to bin it. All the geometry is wrong for a race car, great for a street car. So now with the brains trust telling me my angles and scrubs and lengths, I’m going to be using CNC custom uprights with fabricated double wishbone. I will be also running a double wishbone front end, but haven’t started looking at that yet. I am still hoping to use the rear Aluminium sub frame, but it will need to be tweaked a fair bit.

Got a bit biggest looser yesterday and decided to chop the sh*t out of it, lost 21kg in about 2 hours, I will be making a Aluminium tube front apron support, which should be only be a couple of kgs.

ahh no, its just a S2 R31 standard block, with the turbo drain back bung. It will be more than enough for the power im having. They are reliable for 1000hp, but I have a mate about to push 1500hp+ with his. I'm only wanting around 700hp at the fly.
