Hey all. Been on here for a while but never had much to say. Thought id try out this build thread bit with my new aquisition and daily to B. Anyway 200b wgn,88ks genuine manual, chromies, not running. Manifolds not bolted on properly for some reason. No doubt i'll soon find out why.

I have 3 1600s. 1 rally car 1 roady project 1 spare shell. Couldn't resist some B wgn love when it came up. Traded a 92 pulsar q for it.

Plans are get it regoed then fit some new su's extractors and r31 adj coilovers. All of wich I have laying around waiting for something to go in.

Yeh thanks mate. It's gonna be a cool daily / kid hauler. Lot cooler than a repulsar as the other half called it :)

Hell YES!!! What an awesome colour! I love this. Can you post a picture of you dash facia? I'm trying to work out what series yours is, and if it has the same head unit one of my old 200Bs came with.

Ok here's an update already. Found an old 32/36 weber on manifold buried in all my other datto parts, thought i'd put that on to get it goin for rego. Left std exhaust on for the moment. Carb and exh went on easy and once the timing was right started easy. :D Just need air filter, new hoses, radiator checked, service, tune and nut, bolt, bearing and fluid check and its good for the road.

Green200b. Head unit has been changed at some stage.Ill try and get photo tomorrow. Its a 5/80 model if that helps with a phillips tape player in the centre console just under the dash.

Thanks :) not the same cassette player as my one had. Yours is definately a series two but strange that it has the colour-matched series one grill. I'm keen to see this thing up and running so keep the updates coming

So its a ser 2. Thanks for that. Not sure about the grill. Will slowly learn all the B model differences. All the top brackets on the grill are broken so I will have to whip up some alloy ones.

Thanks for that. Can't wait to start drivin it.

Thinkin about ditchin the weber and just puttin the su's on.have to sort air filter and linkage anyway so might aswell just spend up once and put the su's on.

Hey all. Small update. Progress is slow due to caravan project going at same time. Anyway, pulled the radiator and found it was beyond repair. Tried to get a new one but no luck. New core was 280 plus new tanks if they could find them. Found a new alloy 3 core for a 280zx $199 delivered. It arrived today :D and looks like will work with very few mods. :D

Shees a peaudy mate!

I wish I had a saweet 'hand brakey' hand brake like yours  and the cool centre console setup as well! I've just got the smelly 'coin slider' centre console set up in my super silver 610.

Wagons are all that 8)

I've seen these (aluminium radiators) on ebay.

Can you give us your impression when you have given it a whirl? I think I might like to buy one myself.

Tanks bru

your wagon looks sweet. What a great daily it'll be.

Oh, and 610citylimits, you're right about the 200B handbrake setup being great. I put one in my SSS. You can too, if you want.....
