Thanks i'll have to try and find one closer to Geelong and perhaps compare the cost between soda blasting and dipping.

UPDATE.......

Spent the last couple days buggering around with putting the front end back together. Stuff not fitting so a small modification to the control arms. All done now so over next couple days should be in and a roller.

Then off to shop to have radiator and intercooler mounted. Have one place doing that plus intercooler piping, custom fuel tank and exhaust.

Quick one, the balljoint... that sit on top of the control arm correct? Been many months since I pulled it apart.....

Cheers

 As you have done is correct.(above the arm)

In the other picture where it is mounted below the arm they may have done this to get a better angle of the tie rod? If the car is low maybe? And also it looks like his done a few other changes to his front end.

Yeah it did look good when I got it, but it wasnt perfect. Look at the bog it had, the rust. How long was this shell going to last before it was to be terminal? I am glad I have done it now, but dang I want it back on the road!!!

My Hilux 3ltr non-turbo is taking its toll.......

Cheers
