Thanks guys. Well as I said the next step is to do the suspension. The body work I'm hoping to have done by the end of the year and then shoot the paint on early next year while the weather is still nice and warm. So I'm hoping by easter next year it will be done. Funds are the only thing holding me back at the moment (god damn wedding).

Looking good Brad, I remember I drove Leigh's 1000 at sorrento at a cruise ages ago, it was a really nice car to drive...
undercaridge looks pretty virgin on it, good pic mate..
gotta love a rebuild started on the spit, then on all fours!!!....
I hear you're getting married, good on you!...just gotta put the build on hold for a bit.. its a good time to clean sh*t, pull apart small crap and get that done.. then you'll be ready to assemble it...
geee well, top job so far.. keep the pics coming mate...

Well the 1000 has gone. I have sold off all the parts and brake conversions etc. The shell is going this weekend so that's that. Have no time and soon no space. I'm moving into a new house with no shed. So everything will be placed into storage until I build the new manland. It was either piss off the A Model or the 1000 and the hot rod won. Should have the new shed built over the next 3 months.

Epic fail Brad, you chose some prehistoric Ford over a Datsun??????

 just kidding, we can't keep everything unfortunately. I'm sure you will be building your Hot Rod into something amazing anyway.

If I had the space I would have kept it. Weighing it up when finished the 1000 would only be worth 5-10K the A model when finished will be worth about 50-60K so there was no contest really :(

damm was waiting to see what you could do with the 1000 after the epic 1600 build. Good luck with the move, where are you moving too?
