The dash in my 120y is crapola.
Easy solutions?
Make a new 1 out of steel?
Wood?
Plastic weld the standard one and bog and repaint it?

Cheers

A new one will probably not be road legal (crash requirements) and an absolute PITA. Plastic weld and bog sounds easy.

Bog it up, sand true and recover with black vinyl. Easy to do. Use a orbital sander to sand it all smooth.

Do you just use a heat gun to stretch the vinyl?

i paid someone else to cover mine, i bogged and prepped it all, it cost me $40 for black vinyl, or $50 for the same but with double stitching and a more tighter fit around the sharp edges, like the heater/fan control part

it was the best $ spent on the interior, i know that any datsun i have from now on, has no excuse to have a visible cracked dash
