Hey guys,

It's come time for me to look at selling the beast. I'd love to keep it in W.A if possible, but will see what happens.

In no rush to sell, as have the space to store it. I'll just hate to see it sit there, knowing a fellow enthusiast could be using it.

Anyhow details here:

It's 454 big block, with 8/71 supercharger. Yeah the belts are hidden behind the grille in the pic.

did you know 3/71, 4/71, 6/71, 8/71, 10/71 and 14/71 blowers were originally designed as superchargers for diesel trucks by GM?

i do hope you're not running anymore than 9psi as per the new NHRA-guided regulations....

They were indeed made for trucks.

Fully forged internals, so she can cop a fair bit of boost. Not sure what max overdrive it will run as yet.

Sitting on about 8%od with current pulleys, but will likely change once we get another couple of pulleys.

Taken the datsun down twice. Best of 12.18 @ 198kph from memory. Struggled alot with tyrespin on street tyres, and low prifile 16's. If I get the time, I'll whack some slicks on and have another crack. Current tune and slicks would go into the 11's. More boost, who knows.

Hotrod may go down for a WAW, but would be a bit skatey on an unprepped track.
