not hyundai specific but FWD specific, you generally need to drop the crossmember, so you will need an engine crane or similar, and not easily done in the backyard alone, may require mates with beer

Easy as pie mate. You will hafta weigh up whats gonna be easier pulling motor and box out or just the box. Its been years since ive worked on an accent so i cant remember. But last time i did a clutch on a FWD we just put the car on stands and dropped the box out. If you've done a 1600 before you'll have no dramas with an accent. Have fun :)

You'll most likely hafta remove the stub axles and driveshafts which can be a pain sometimes.

Hope you got a big arse breaker bar for the driveshaft hub nuts.

And remember the box has also got the diff in it, so you'll need a He-man like Riley to help you get it in n out!!!

prick of a job if you dont know what you are doing, i was a hyundai mechanic for 6months, after being a ford mech for 4 years, worst decision ever, keep motor in, support it with engine crane or strut beam support, you really need a hoist to make it easy to do, removing the shafts will be annoying, then drop the crossmember, and then remove everything related to the gearbox, takes at least half a day at a workshop with experience doing it, good luck
