Hey guys,

About 3 years ago an old guy down the road from me passed away, He had bought this stanza new in 1979 and kept it in stanthorpe. Because It was kept so far inland there was NO rust when I got it. I paid $300 with no rego and a recently blown head. I took my time learning as I went to repair the engine, then got it rego'd. I Flogged it for 2 years before the 4spd box/engine finially died.
I have left it sitting for a year now and I feel that's long enough. My plans are to strip it back and get a full respray, new carpet, door seals, 5spd box and a L18. Bigger brakes and harder suspension are on the list too.
I'm tossing up over red or white. I'm planning to keep it fairly standard looking.

Anyway heres some pictures of what it was like when i got it i'll add some recent ones in a few days, Basicly looks the same now besides tint. Tell us what you think, always open to suggestions and positive comments!

Thanks for looking :)

Nice posing! And car. I'm surprised you managed to break the gearboxes, I've killed lots of engines and diffs from driving, but never a gearbox...

So what are the plans as far as wheels and suspension are concerned? They'll make the car look sweet if you get the right parts.
