hey guys ive just got hold of an origional radio for my dato with mounting brackets but stupid me im not sure where or how to mount the radio in. ive bought a new surround (unmollested) juist waiting to get that in the post.

so if anyone has an info or even pics please help.

All I want is less to do, more time to do it and higher pay for not getting it done.

I helped OLDSCL install one in his 4dr a few months back.

Assuming yours is a >70 model, the radio brackets should have 4x mounting holes in them that line up with the holes in the steel dash frame structure (the vertical members either side of the radio hole).

Once mounted into the dash frame, the radio should be in the perfect position for the plastic surround to slide over it from the front. Then the plastic fascia panel goes over the potentiometer shafts and is secured by nuts and washers.
