Well since LAG has blown the cobwebs off his thread I thought I
would do the same. Datto is currently under going a front brake upgrade and I still haven't changed the turbo life plus kids and a new job have been talking up all of my time. Hopefully back out cruising soon but.

So over a year between updates later brake upgrade is done as well as scoring gx fender mirrors and steering wheel. Been contemplating pulling it back of the road again mid next year to finally paint engine bay as well as fit disco spud and a new intercooler. Will get some pics up once I remember how lol

So been another year since I updated this thread life,kids and a new job have taken all my spare time. After having a smokey T3 turbo for the last few years I have finally swapped it over to a GT2860rs.
I changed the inter cooler to as better unit as well as redoing all the piping and tidying up a few things. Here is how it looks currently hopefully off for a tune in the next month and crack past the 200rwkw

After wanting one of these since I was a teenager I just bought my 1st 120Y yesterday. Is it correct that a 16 x 8 wheel fits in with no alterations needed?

Hey mate yeah theirs a few pages to read through :lol:

Congrats on your Y purchase would love to see some pics and your plans for it.

Ah no plenty of mods to get the wheels to fit 16x8 fronts 16x9 rears :D

Sure thing will chuck a few up once it gets here. Still researching options for what I want to do but I'm thinking 13b. Always had a thing foe rotors lol

Y is now sitting under a cover until the current covid lockdown is over and I can get it tuned. Just want to drive it again!

There's a link to the build thread from the previous owner in my signature

So a few years ago a mate of mine built what I consider to be the cleanest 120y I've ever seen. We have joked over the years about me buying it and I told him if that was ever to come up I want first dibs. Well October 2020 said mate called me and advised he was going to move it on as some other things had come up in his life that he wanted to concentrate on and a deal was done. The 2door was put up for sale and sold in less than a week it's now living in Mt Isa.

Apart from a few tidy ups I have no big plans for it other than driving it and enjoying it with my family something that I couldn't do with the 2door
