I think it will look great on the 120Y provided you can fit it around your intercooler

One of the Perth boys on datsun1200.com have fitted a Barina (85?) front bumper cut in half to the front of their 120Y. Looked good too.

Well ive come up with a few plans that i would like to get done to the datto in the new year. I figure if I post them up here it will keep me motivated to update the progress and actually get them done  so here go's

* Mk1 golf front lip ( if it fits over the oil cooler  )

* Fit new custom exhaust manifold that ive had for ages and new exhaust with stainless rear
muffler and possibly a new roller turbo?

* Repaint rear 1/4's,spare bonnet and rocker cover as well as geting the strut brace powder
coated

* Fit ebc and re tune for more boost :)

* Brake bias valve

* A set of sparco seats like brad's are also on the wishlist

Thats about the extent of it for now I have a few suspension things I would like to do as well coilover's ect but il see how the money situation go's

Yeah the cash thing is always a main factor specially when you're paying a house off or have mountains of bills.

but do things slowly, there is never a rush to get things done unless it is your daily, it's not like the car is going anywhere just as long as you don't sell it.
Sounds like it will turn out real nice once you have ticked all them things off your list, it is a real nice car as it is, but like most Datsun owners and modifiers a like there is always something to change or upgrade, otherwise it would all be prety boring! :P

If you need a hand with the spoiler let me know, fairly straight forward thing to do, just make sure you have some stainless bolts & washers, a good drill n drill bit and also maybe some touch up paint to coat the holes, also the fact that the spoiler is a two piece also helps.....

Here's the new exhaust manifold i plan on fitting soon. It came off anthony morrow's z18 powered 1600 sports sedan so im hoping it will give a fair power improvement on my car being that the standard log manifold is fairly restictive. Just needs a good clean up and the flanges machined flat or i might cut them off and replace them with new ones? Not a bad find for $50 I reckon :D

Looks like there's some good mods coming the Y's way!

I vote suspension before seats/nice-ities!

Power on the other hand can never be a bad thing!
Be sure to post some pics of your highmounted gt2860rs or similiar, and further pics of the resulting bald rear tyres ;)

Good work Stu. The manifold looks good . The turbo should spin up alot quicker with that jigga throwing the gases at it.

Nice one Stu!

make sure you replace them studs and give it a good blasting, don't want any crap going into the turbs  would also be good if you had it HPC coated....

 Its actually a lowmount manifold mark just got it upside down on the table. I figure if im going to the trouble of getting the turbo flange replaced i may as well put a t2 flange on so i can upgrade to a roller turbo il just have to save up a few pennies for it anyone recomend a turbo I should be looking at? Il probly will do the coilovers before seat's ect also got a willwood brake bias valve sitting on the shelf that I need to fit as well. :D
