Yeah it was on lpg when I brought it but the system that was on it was never designed to run with boost so I had to re do it all again with the gas research stuff. Got a few plans and change's I want to do to the car starting next year probly so I can actualy drive it for a
while

No updates on the car lately thought id post a couple of winton pics up but

Planing on doing a few little touchup's and things before the cruise on grand final day

Looks awesome Stu wished I had my license and my car was track worthy, but it will get there I hope next year and I can join you guys. What are you planning on touching up? To me it looks tidy as is. Yeah that cruise should go off can't wait......

Just going to repaint the bottom's of my rear 1/4's where I had the paint misshap before winton

Also going to paint and fit a spare bonnet that i have because the one on it now had broken away from the frame and due to it flexing has cracked the paint slightly

So nothing too major. Im planning on taking it off the road in a year or so for a full rebuild strip it back to bare metal and do all the repairs and paint proply this time still it dosnt look to bad for a 2g paint job

Also guna tidy the engine bay up a bit repaint the rocker cover and strut brace so it looks nice untill i can afford to do the engine bay the way i want it.I got engaged over the weekend but so any plans I have for my toys might be waiting till after the wedding now but

Congrats Stu Yeah I now know how hard it can be to make plans for your ride but if only funds permit, I bought a House with my partner in Feb and the Datto has been placed second in the priority list. With regards to the Y who did your paint??? I remember the first time I saw it at the OzDat dyno day it looks like a million bucks! no way that is a 2k job, plus those flared arches are pure horn

A mate of mine painted it for me and yeah it was 2g mates rates but that was not including anybody work which Idid most of myself with some help from another mate who's a beater.Im happy with the way it looks at the moment and will be even more happier once the engine bay is the same colour But yeah one day il give it the full once over again it helps when you have friends in the trade but

Hmmmm im thinking about geting a lip spoiler like alex and anth have on there datto's but im not sure how it would fit or look on a 120y being that it has a smaller apron than most other dat's what does everyone think yah or nah?

go for it man! black lips look proper on old cars. Honestly i think it will look better on your Y because i think its a tad too small for my 1600, i wish it was a bit wider. so it should fit the Y really good. Have a look on datsun1200 theres a blue 1200 wagon with one, that should give you a good idea of how it will look on a smaller datto
