As my better half would say - 'It looks like a car again!' Nice work.

Doing the whole job without a stanley knife.....

finding the holes to bolt the handbrake down and to get the seatbelt holes i think that would have been it. and hoping you didn't screw it up and have to buy a new one.....

other than that it was pretty damn easy...

got one seat in and then the other fell of the shelf and i bent a rail. so i cracked the sh!ts and watched spiderman 3.

more work tongiht!

well i lied about doing more work on it, because i hadn't heard back form the DPI, so i stayed cranky at the car and have left it be for a week....

<RANT>
i did drop into the vehicle mod branch and found that they will only start to look at it possibly at the end of next week or later...... 5 to 10 working days my right nut. pack of arses, i tell you what it's no wonder people do a dodgy job and lie and so forth, because this has been a complete screw around. 12 page form to say "it bolts in" and then waiting a month to find out nothing has been done..... it's still sitting somewhere under 14 other applicants in front of me. hessian bag full of arseholes!
</RANT>

might finish everything i can tonight, and maybe i'll feel better...

so i got a bit of a push on the weekend and worked on her on sunday. i got the heater plumbed in, wiring sorted, battery in. a few other bits and pieces sorted. the interior is complete now. and i got my set of square tops which i'll be giving a clean and a once over tonight.

i also adjusted the clutch pedal, and made templates for some of the blanking plates i need. might take it around the block tonight.... i'll get some pics up if i do.

For these type of events you can get a day restrictive licence
You just go to the deparment of transport and tell them where your driving to, times and why you need to drive it and they give you a permit for about $35

i used to do it every autocross meet to drive my unlicenced 1600 to the event
