it lived, a little water didn't hurt in cooling it down :twisted: but nothing serious, the car didn't brun to the ground.....

thanks again mate it worked out really well, and i can't take credit for all of it the father in law lent a hand as well.

now to get some 120Y steering arms.

you can buy auto underbody sealer, its kind of like black gunky silicon.
you can get it at supercheap.

is that what your after ?

Gee if you go ahead and do the EFI it will be even LONGER before its back on the road! And youve said you'll have this or that done "next weekend" a million times and it always ends up beeing months down the road :roll:

Look i have a heap of other commitments, mainly the house which i have to put first. but it will get there.



and as for the safety, i offered all the gear i could, face sheild, goggles and gloves but the fatherin law didn't want them, he did use a welding mask and gloves during that part.....

got my EFI pumps tonight, pierberg lift and bosch HP pump.

parts are just about collected for the EFI now. get it on the road, and then i can look at putting that gear on!

today i got the front suspension in the ute steering arms worked a treat ;)

i also got the gearbox Xmember spacer in and the thing bolted up finally.

sealed the tunnel mod, and am getting a set of braided front lines on tuesday, for the brakes.
