looking to drop an L series into the 1200 wagon what are peoples thoughts and ideas and parts needed to modify? cheers

its a fairly straight forward swap but vary tight :| you will need a forward facing sump and picup, modify the cross member, make a rear mount or buy a maddat one. you may need to mod your gear box hump depending on gear box (4 speed, stumpy 5 speed or long 5 speed) i used an r30 stumpy with no tunnel mods exept for moving the shifter hole back a few inches. you will also need a clutch master i used the maddat set up to save time but not mony, radiator will need to be replaced (the thinner the better). the diff wont last long so you will have to up grade that to, im still using a h145 but have to baby it to much. thats all i can think off atm.

ok but the stanza lca's are used for upgrading the struts correct?

yes. tho only good thing the stanza x member is good for are the towersw the mounts are on. unpick them off the stanza x member and weld them onto the 1200 x member. much neater factory looking set up.

mine passed engenieering. he was happy with them.

oh thats probably caus ei didnt weld them either, another guy did... my welds arent that pretty.
