got my dizzy the other day :D but unfortunately it had a shaged boost retard pod  no ones to blame just how it is and it has new everything on it  so i can't complain.
it also gave me a chance to pull it apart and see whether i could fix it using my other vac advance module which at first glance seemed unlikely.

first of i ground off the outside of the base of the stuffed module as i only wanted the cap. you can see the torn diaphragm.

next was to disassemble the standard module which is time consuming and must be carful not to damage it. i just put it in a vice, got a screwdriver + hammer and gave it a good hit to rase the lip then work around until the cap can be removed.

swap everything over.

Glad it all worked out mate sorry once again I wonder if the shagged diaphram was the cause of some of my issues? Oh well too late now

Add another one to the list then  Oh well Ive moved onto bigger and better things and now that I think about it I reckon my custom exhaust manifold was probably the cause of the problem as the dizzy say pretty close

if you look closely you can see where my flex joint hit a speed bump  so its already paid for itself altho if the rear springs hadn't sagged it wouldn't have hit at all. NEXT new rear springs

Not much has been done to the 1200 for a fair wile. put some new spring in the rear about 2 months ago which sorted out my ride hight and travels alot nicer to :D got rid of the old i/c because it just wasn't fitting well (to much piping) and have been battling preignition ever since, so i modified a xr6 i/c that fits alot better and no more pinging. Soooo no pinging, time for more boost right  bumped it up with a new 7psi actuator spring witch makes 9psi and still no pinging. i have also fitted a stage 3 boost cooler from snow performance and was abel to wined in a bit more timing and this thing goes like stink  cant wipe the smile of my stupid face.

Ive got an exedy 5 puck clutch with a cushioned center so it's not as harsh as a full on button center. Had it in the car about 5 years now hasn't slipped once.

i have driven a car with a button clutch and wasn't a big fan altho it may have been a solid center. how dose yours perform in traffic, car parks and shopping center ramps?
