I tried the wheels off the back of my dads panel van, 15x8, 3 3/8" Backspace and 205/50-15 tyres
I was suprised that they fit! my diff needs to be shortened a further 50mm approx each side for them to fit but it will happan!

And considering i could get prob another 20mm clearance when i roll the guards (they are untouched atm)

Make the car fit the wheels i say! haha

few more pics,

Went and picked my wheels up on thursday, really happy with them and should look sweet when all done!
Wiring is all finished, only have the ecu plug to wire up when i get it.. im also goin to use a Haltech Platinum Sprint 500 ecu, ID1000 injectors, another 044 and bigger fuel lines.. should make some good power!
Hopper stopper brakes should be here on tuesday, Screens will be in and doors hung this week.

Also sold my R31 diff, going with an EL/EF falcon diff as the calipers are smaller, lighter and better design.. will allow me to shorten the diff how i want, ill be adding a spool and 4.11 gears.

so yeh, coming along great!

small update time:

Rod andrews is building up the cage this week coming, got my exhaust and wastegate pipe finished, started wiring up the dash. Got my new CA radiator, gave it a polish and chucked her in, also made up the top hose/pipe.
Chucked the front windscreen in (you dont get a rear window rubber in the rare spares kit! go figure!)

Have my EF diff all shortened up, so ill be mounting it up tomorrow and i also have the door hinges back! so the gf will be giving me a hand to hang the doors tomorrow.. so it should look like a car again

thanks mate, pretty happy with how its shaping up!

ok bit of an update! due to the cage being a day late and not getting my stanza arms etc in the mail yesty, i didnt get a whole deal done.. but i did get the door trims on, made up the coilovers, got tyres put on the rims and i got my axles back from being shortened. also boxed up the boot ready for when my fuel cell and pumps etc arrive..

I dummy fitted up the front brakes too, they look huge on the car! the front wheels are sticking out the guards atm, but with them adjusted and the lca's in it should all work out.

heres some pics

thanks dude, ill get some pics of the brackets when i get a chance and post them for you. im not sure what was done as i bought them like it,

bit more of an update.. because im bored lol.

Started putting in the cage, had to take the bloody interior out to put it in which was a pain! but ah well.. coming along pretty good, taxi bar is tacked in, just have to run the 2 rear bars and the side intrusions.
Also got my fuel cell so i dummy fitted it up, the rear bars for the cage will pass along each side of the cell.

Got some 4.11 diff gears for the rear, will have it all together and fitted on the weekend, also finally got some stanza LCA's and steering arms! so the front end will be together over the weekend also. Busy times ahead.
