Hey everyone.
I bought myself a nice little cheap daily which is a 1973 Datsun 1200 Sedan.
It's got a fair bit of rust here and there.
Interior has a few rips and cracks in the dash.
I have KE70 steelies which I have painted fluro green, I just need tyres and whitewalls before I put my Mazda 808 chrome hubcaps on.

My plans for this car.
-restore back to original condition
-upgrade drum brakes to disks in the front
-Chrome hubcaps and slam it!
-rear venetians

The reason why im not making this car heaps fast is that I already have another project. A 1984 Nissan Gazelle S12, and I have just put an FJ20ET in it and have a few other things to do before it will drive. I'd rather the 1200 to be granny spec as I do not want it to be defected as my Gazelle is epically defectable already!

Those front tyres don't look like they've got much life left in them!

yo.
Its been a whilke since posting, not much has happened.
I got another set of KE70 steelies and painted them with white basecoat and fluro green glow in the dark clear.
Mazda 808 chrome hubcaps are on the car and you see 15mm of white paint in daylight.
Night time its fluro green! mmm
They are on the car with new tyres too.

The next thing on the agenda is to buy 4L Primer and 4L Pure white and make my own colour.
As the original Fuji White does not come up on the paint systen I use.

So therefor im going to slowly restore my car one panel at a time, and try and make the car look mint again.
I also need to get new shocks in rear, and 2.5 inch or so lowering blocks.
I also want to get rear venetians, front sun visor, and roof racks.

All the progress I do I'll post up photos of the restoration.
Here's a pic of the hubbies and wheels.

enjoy

i want to see those glow in the dark hubcaps in action! Those sunrasiers you used to have on the front didn't look too bad, any idea what they came off?

I want too see the glow-in-the-dark action also! Pretty sure they're Mazda 1300 hubcaps by the way.
