Like what you have done with the coil packs.
Now you have extra power it will be more than 2 seconds a lap faster than the RS.

Great to hear from you. I hope you're well. It's been a while since the datto has been on the track.

The Focus RS has been sold Baz and I have a M140i (~6 seconds a lap faster around Sandown than the RS)

I'm looking forward to getting the Datto back. I saw the paint on Sat and they have done a fantastic job. Bare metal spray on the guard.

Oh that was the M140i.

Now im testing my memory

The Focus RS was about 1.30 (100% stock)
The Datto about 1.27 (on the ragged edge) 200 ATW
The M140i is 1.24 (100% stock)

Ive been reading your build thread........yes some people still read this stuff Nice car you did a lot of good work!

I am currently embarking on a similar build. I note early on in your build that you added a L shape bracket to the spare wheel well and rear frame/rail under the car. What is that for mate? Just Re-inforcing or something to do with the diff?

That was just to add a little more strength to the chassis.

I thought that may have been the case.

I have spoken to Baz a few times about your car. He raves about how it handles. I have an old disport setup. I may need to upgrade.

Im trying to tackle wiring at the moment. I have an old PLMS setup for the ECU that came with the car but no body wiring loom at all. Its doing my head in...dont know where to start.

I'll get there eventually.
