thanks tim, indicator switch works a treat... when i first fitted it, the horn was stuck on... turned out one of the wires was grounding out.. fixed that and now all is sweet.

time for an update... After having a run in with my first engineer, i moved on to a more professional and sensible bloke to deal with.. big shout out to Kevin in Plenty for the words of advise and signing off on my SR project.
Ive also added a few more goodies since the first post including:
-r31 rear disc conversion
-old school adjustable rear crossmember with 4inch exhaust hole
-datsport brake lines
-exhaust has been finished with 3inch mandrel (have still retained a super quiet 2inch rear muffler until i pass vic roads inspection)
-as well as new rear wheel bearings, unis

Also had the rear crossmember and a arms sandblasted and powder coated, which suprisingly only cost me about 100 bucks all up.

Sweet. Good luck with the rego.
I reckon the South Oakleigh Vic Roads office is the way to go. As I said the other day, I could have dragged a mule through there when I did mine and so long as I stamped his arse with the right numbers they would have given me a rego sticker
Anyway, let me know how it goes so we can go for a spin when you're done.
I found a flywheel today so with a bit of luck mine will be sorted by the weekend.

Awesome
I'll be near your place on Saturday morning.
New clutch and flywheel was meant to go in today so I'm hoping I can pick it up tomorrow :D
If I can, I'll be driving it on Saturday if you're going to be about?

I finally got around to changing the rear muffler, for some reason the 1.5inch legal noise suppressor really didnt do much for the sr...hehe, Now with a 3inch straight through i can really start to learn what thr sr power is like, but im still a little bit stumped. Boost comes on quick and steady with the t25 pumping out 7psi from 2500 to red line without any issues. What does confuse me is a strong punch of power at 4000rpm. Boost pressure isnt changing, its steady. But there is a sudden punch, noticeable enough for even the passenger to feel it in the seat of their pants.
Can any sr drivers describe to me the power of an SR with aftermarket cams??? Maybe my 4000rpm kick is courtesy of some hks cams... we can only hope.

oh and nick... you love the venetians

even with stock cams, i've noticed a difference when the stock cam lobe comes into play, which is around 4,000rpm, much more noticable on NA's, esp as the induction noise increases dramatically.

Hey Tony, haven't noticed it in mine, but will take it for a spin this arvo and give it some, see if it's noticeable....... Anything to help a mate out!!

Thanks for your help last week too. It's been spot on ever since.
