thanks scottie :)

well made some slow progress. spent lots of hours on it and its all up and running and at a mates place getting tuned. hes got a shabby shed in his backyard with a fully sound proof dyno cell and a hub dyno which he designed and made himself!

got the new technotoy tie rods so im all rose jointed up! also now have -12 fittings on the rocker cover for bigger hoses. tuning is in early stages but makes plenty of torque and is making good power at 17 psi. looking forward to having a drive and then playing with the suspension a little. going to go for a 300lb rear spring and going to raise it a little bit.

thanks guys, yeah the dyno cell is awesome. the intake and exhaust silencers are awesome. there are huge fans for intake and exhaust for air flow. the silencers let you see outside but barely let a sound out! good mate to have

no snapped axles yet... im still hunting for spares to rebuild!

you'll be there soon stu, that little y will love you for getting rid of the gas! :woohoo:

Well as always dramas are taking heaps of time! ive been chasing a little miss which occurs about 4000rpm. after changing every concievable thing and smashing a rocker with a big miss its finally sorted! annoying things have died in the process, the water pump gave up the ghost, the starter has just done the same, ive had to change input trigger methods so the crank pulley was modified, new sensors, new routing of shielded wires the list goes on! then finding and fixing the snapped rocker its finally going for its final tune on the dyno on tuesday night... then i have a big list of little things and it'll be ready.

the coil packs won't be mounted nicely and lots of stuff will be done 'for now' but the main thing is that its there! ive got thursday night to get it all done... i think im going to be tired friday haha

Hey Leigh I've got a CA18DET starter motor at home, not sure if it's the same as an SR one but you know what Nissans are like with their interchangeability. It's yours if you want it!

That Dyno Cave looks like a surgical cathedral for Dexter Morgan love the mad organ pipes in the back :)
Simon reminds me of the mad prof in back to the future, Flux capacitor like A12 Turbo EFI 1200 coupe!
Not to mention he plays with trains also like the Mad Prof in BTTF3 LOL

Engine bay & car looks amazing Lags congrats!, BTW theres a clean Sr20de at PAP in Campy if you need
a reco super clean head bits in an converted Nissan Prairie some mad motha did a great conversion but
probably gave up when couldnt get it engineered. Rocker gears @ Five finger discounts for those things.

Well after a nightmare run sorting little gremlins all the way until the morning of the track day then it all went smoothly! I had lots of help from mates and without it wouldnt have made it!

Dyno check on sunday night after replacing coils made 255kw on wastegate pressure (about 17psi) and 277kw on 21psi. The car seriously hauls now :) I used the low boost all day at the track until the last session as it was hitting boost cut for some reason on high. The car felt twitchy mid corner so i really lost a lot of time in the long sweepers but i think good lines will help this. I think the gearbox is finally giving up too, has whined for a while now but has a good rattle in it. i've bought an r33 gtr box that im looking into modifying to fit.

all in all i had a ball, met up with heaps of people that i havent seen in a while and had a trouble free experience! except for the starting issues requiring a pit crew roll start every time, but that just adds to the fun!

ill get some pics up soon :)
