Hi
Just putting the 1600 together - bought it as a rolling shell and sorting through the boxes of parts.
Looks like there is some sort of clip at the top of the back of the accelerator pedal that attaches the pedal to the pedal bar.
Does anyone have a pic of this?
Also, I assume that the bottom of the pedal screws into the body floor (no marks or holes on the floor in my car) and if that's right does anyone have the measurements for the holes from the firewall and from the interior side panel?
Thanks

I can do some measuring for you if necessary.

Thanks Graeme
I'm still not sure as to whether there is a part that connects the rod to the pedal - or does the pedal just sit on the curved end of the rod? The back of the pedal seems to have grooves for some sort of clip.
Looks like I am also missing the stopper bolt.
If you could take a pic of the back of the pedal as mounted, and if you could send some through some measurements, I would appreciate it.

All I can add is, every 1600 I have owned has not had a clip at the back of the plastic pedal to hold it in place.

But depending on your motor or carby setup, you may choose to upgrade to an S13 pedal setup etc, which are fairly common across all nissans of that era like pulsars, bluebirds etc.

The pedal presses on this with no clip involved as mentioned.

Pedal is between 100 and 150mm from the sill panel

Pedal base is 310mm from the screw mount on the front wheel well.

Hope this helps
