Hi,
Recently purchased some stock sliding seat rails. For the life of me I can’t figure how to install them so they function. Am I missing springs or more wires?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Looks OK to me ?

Do you have the two pieces that the seat rails sit on ? The ones that run front-to-rear in the pic below.

If so, your rails bolt on top of them, seat bolts on top of your rails and the wires connect the two sides so that the lever disengages the rail on one side (side the lever is on) to allow it to slide, and the wire runs from the lever across to the pin on the other side so it disengages at the same time.

Thanks for the reply Dave.

I do have the floor mounts also.. when I mounted the seat to the rails and had the wire in place the non lever side doesn’t disengage because the wire doesn’t actually pull on the pin. Wire goes sloppy.

Possibly the wire has stretched a little. Maybe try a bit if welding wire or something in its place that is a little shorter to pull on the pin. Sounds like you have everything you need, its just being a bit difficult.
