Can anyone confirm that rb25 starter motor is direct bolt on to l18 if not what starter is required for l18 9 tooth or 12

They bolt straight on and are the best starter upgrade for an l series

How many teeth are theysuppose to have 8 ..9 or 12

Pretty sure all RB starters will work. RB30et, RB25DET etc. Alot of them interchange as Datsun and Nissan starters didn't seem to change a lot throughout the 70's and 80's. The designs just got more efficient and powerfull etc. Some are built differently internally and have more poles or windings etc so vary in length and diameter and have slightly different tooth counts but still bolt on and work. Select Nissan models even have factory gear reduction type starters...
