So, I've bought a GQ Patrol 100amp alternator, which apparently bolts straight onto my '74 180B but need some clarification on the wiring.
I have a Lucas alternator currently. Is this internal or external regulator??

The Patrol alt has main power lug and then L(light) and S(sense) terminals, but the Lucas alt has main power lug, IND terminal (I assume this charge light) and what looks like an earth line.

Is this a straight power to power, L terminal to IND wire swap?? And is the earth line(?) the same as the Sense line?? Is there any issues with the regulator??

Any help would be appreciated,

Cheers
