I did do a search and found a quite a bit of info, but just want to be sure.

So, as per the subject, can I fit a '4 Bolt' steering box from a 180B to my 1600? From what I have read, I can if I have the later collapsible steering column?

Without knowing too much about the differences in columns, I had quick look at mine and it appears to have a round ribbed outer sheath that to my mind would be the collapsible version?

A friend has offered it to me and my std 3 bolt box is worn and at max adjustment.

Advice appreciated.

Woz

Sounds like it is all go. Only the very early 510s had the spear column
