Glad you got it sorted.

I've gotta have a cleanup

I've got stuff spread over my shed, and stuff that's been under the parent's house for years, and I can never find anything

My 240k has a similar problem not that I've changed the clutch: The clutch doesn't disengage even with my foot on the floor. The thing that makes me hesitant to drop the transmission is that the pedal isn't loose at the top of the motion.

If the problem was that the wrong thrust bearing carrier was installed, wouldn't the pedal feel slack at the top? ATMO, it's solid all the way down, but doensn't disengage.

Oh, and there's nothing wrong with either of the cylinders. I've checked them, they're fine.

Pleasse help! I put in a smaller diameter slave, but it still only *just* works!

Well, you did say no rush

Only ever found the one carrier (Z18) in my shed when I was cleaning up months ago, but was under the parent's house today looking for lower control arms to extend the ones on my 1600, and found two bearing carriers there  .

If you still need a carrier, let me know and I'll send one down to you.
Been mucking around with these today. Broke one trying to press a bearing on! :( The one i broke was 28mm thick (measured from where the fork pushes against the two sleeve tabs to the where the bearing seats. It looks approx 4mm longer than the left one Dave pictured. I also have a 24mm thick one (280zx L28? / Dr30 Fj20et) and some short ones as pictured on the right which i think are out of 1600 L16 4speeds...
