Don't know. Mine are a very snug fit. Maybe the Kaaz nugget is slightly different.

What use will that be? Real 200Bs have live axle, none of this IRS rubbish

Good work with the write-up, I can't see it ever being much use to me but for many others it will be a valuable set of instructions for a great conversion.

Graham Wise had a IRS 200B he rallied 6 or 7 years ago. I think Neil Cuthbert ownes it now. I found an IRS 200B wreck in a wreckers in Greens Rd. Dandenong a year ago. They weren't all solid rear ends as you read from the link below.

PS: great write up

My old man had one, I learned to drive in it.

Only the very early ones had IRS, and the fully imported SSS's.

I had a 77 GL, it was an R160 IRS setup. It seems most of the GL's of that time were IRS

Just finalizing a deal for 4 sets of these stub axels.

$490AUD delivered, eta 2-3weeks. Saves international transaction fee, international shipping and of course they are the very last 4 sets from the manufacturer till next run!

so guys, picked my axles up from the post office today (thanks sled)
now i've read the first post regarding the pinion flange... but i want to be super-sure i get it right...

what's the consensus (pics if you can) on the best way to put the pinion flange back on to the correct tension/preload?

count threads exposed past the nut, take picture for good luck , mark the nut position vs the shaft so it's done up to the same
place.. and bob's your aunty?

Yep get a punch and punch a mark on the nut and thread (as in half of punch on nut and half on the thread. Do the nut back up to eaxctly the same spot and off you go.

I'm interested in a set also. So might be worth doing another group buy.
