HAHA!! Sweet man thanks for asking. i think i am actually the only active member on here. a mate of mine (whom i gave my rusty 1200 ute to) is/was a member of datsun1200, but he works bush and cbf going onto the internet. a lot of people use datsuns up here for rally cars, and i spent this last week actually at the wreckers around town, and NO ONE has parts anymore except skyline and bluebird stuff, and even then its pushing it with availability and price! all you guys, debating on travelling 2 hours across the city to pick up a spare engine, i would jump on it in a heartbeat  a couple hours of your time and having a spare or whatever is a LOT better than having to buy everything interstate which is almost what im doing!!

at least you have a bit of a datsun enthusiast community, people here who own a datsun either think they are something to bush bash in and flog off for $300 or they wont give them up cause they know how awesome they are! dont get me wrong, i indirectly broke my 200 from taking it for a spin or 6

lol ... well at least all is well ... unfortunatly any wrecker in adelaide with 1200 parts or 1600 part knows how hard they are to get hold of these days and they like to charged the big $$$ ... if any member ever thinks of selling a car to a wrecker you should make damn sure that they are giving you good money for it because any part that comes off that car will be sold at a premium

Myself and most of the Alice Springs nissan guys use SAU, while the Darwin guys seem to prefer Boostcruising.

Hey there, old thread revival in progress...

Anyone still in Darwin? There'll be a 200B cruising around next week. Say hi if you see it...
