Put the 18th of October in your diaries. Zed day is soon to be here and bigger and better we hope. This year we are featuring those Zeds with different engines, either V8’s, turbo Nissan or whatever has ended up tickling the fancy of the owner at the time. There is a lot of interest in these types of hybrids, so bring yours along and we will feature it in the middle of our display. We might be able to persuade one of the owners to give us a few words on the pros and cons of the popular modification.

All of our regular features will also be happening, trophies for the people’s choice best S30 zed, the perpetual trophy for members only, judged by one of the committee on a topic chosen on the day. For example in other years this has been awarded for best original wheels or tool kit and in the case of 2 cars being very close it usually falls to who has the most accurate clock as a decider. The "Tune Right sausage sizzle" will be happening again sponsored by Martin Falconer.

New to this year will be a trophy for the people's choice for the best non S30 Zed, Datsun or Nissan. Last year we saw a number of other Datsun’s join us so to encourage them to keep coming we will be offering this new incentive. Facebooks "Perth Datsun Club" should be turning up for some Datsun variety.

SUNDAY OCTOBER 18TH
FROM 12 NOON
Belmont Sports and Rec Club
Corner of Abernathy Rd and Keane St Cloverdale

Hey Mr Camouflage can a car 'on display' leave before the 3pm time if need be? or is that a bit discourteous?

No one is going to stop you leaving if you have somewhere to be.
Would be nice to see your 1600 there. :D
